Service Description

Our One-Day Pottery Throwing Course which runs from 10am - 4pm (1 hr break at 12.30pm) offers a hands-on journey into the art of shaping clay on the wheel. You'll learn the fundamentals of centering, pulling, and shaping clay to create your own unique pieces. From cups to bowls. No prior experience is required—this session is suitable for beginners and seasoned potters alike. The cost includes studio clay, firing, and glazing up to 4 pieces of work produced. DECORATING: If you choose the "Throwing Day + Decorating" option, please let us know when you'd like to return to finish turning and decorating your pieces after your initial session. This step is optional. If the "Turning and Decorating" option is not selected, we will glaze your work for you. Please get in touch 4 - 5 weeks after the course to collect your work. - Please keep your nails short for this workshop - The course will run if there is a minimum of 2 bookings - Minimum age: 16. ------------------------------------------- Cancelling/ Rescheduling bookings: Fees are non-refundable and can’t be rescheduled once the course/workshop you are enrolled onto is sold out or when it has already started. If you are no longer able to attend, please do let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to help. Note that we will only be able to issue a refund/reschedule if we can find another person to take over your place.
