Miniature Pottery Workshop

Service Description

A Fatclay Pottery exclusive workshop, you will be taught how to wheel-throw miniature clay vessels and experiment with different forms on a tiny pottery wheel. Our favourite way of using these vessels are to hold mini plants or small items on our home office desk as a decorative piece. At the start of the workshop, a quick demonstration will be given to introduce the 3 basic steps needed to create a miniature vessel. Using a quick dry technique, we will then demonstrate how to decorate your vessels with underglaze. After which, you are free to begin your crafting until the end of the session to produce a cohesive decorative set of mini pots. > Each miniature pot is around 3/4cm in height only. > Up to 3 complimentary underglaze-decorated mini pots included. > Additional pieces to keep is chargeable at £2.50 per piece. Please get in touch 4 - 5 weeks after the course to collect your work. - Minimum age: 16. ------------------------------------------- Cancelling/ Rescheduling bookings: Fees are non-refundable and can’t be rescheduled once the course/workshop you are enrolled onto is sold out or when it has already started. If you are no longer able to attend, please do let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to help. Note that we will only be able to issue a refund/reschedule if we can find another person to take over your place.
